What is the IGRFSF?
The IGRFSF is a non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization to assist on an as needed basis for members of the Idaho National Guard & Reservists in Idaho-based units and their respective families. The Fund is an independent organization closely affiliated with the Military Division of the office of the Governor. The IGRFSF emergency financial assistance is provided either as an interest-free loan, a grant, or a combination loan and a grant. The Fund provides the Commanding General a valuable asset in accomplishing his basic command responsibility for the morale and welfare of the Idaho Guard and Reserve Forces.
How do you apply for the Fund?
A Service Member or Family Member must contact their local Family Assistance Center Specialist (FAC) and complete an IGRFSF application packet. A completed packet includes:
- The IGRFSF Application
- The Budget Planning Sheet
- IRS Form W-9-Copies of all billing statements asking to be paid (hand written account numbers will not be accepted)
The FAC will then submit the application packet to the Standing Fund CommitteeTypical turn around on applications should take 24 to 72 hours
