Boys and Girls Club of the Lewis Clark Valley T.E.A.M. Camp: T.E.A.M. Camp is a weeklong Leadership camp for 20 youth, 10 boys and 10 girls, 13 years old to 17 years old put on by the Boys and Girls Club of Lewiston. T.E.A.M. Camp is located at Camp Wittman 20 miles from Lewiston, Idaho. The participants spend a week in the “shoes” of the people who they are most likely to come into contact with if they continue heading down the wrong path.

The mission of T.E.A.M. Camp is developing the underlying theme which consists of team building and team work. The focus is building long lasting relationships with participants while creating an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcome.

The Idaho National Guard Counterdrug Support Program gives presentations about the Counterdrug Support Program and the military way of life.

The Idaho National Guard Counterdrug Support Program run team building exercises, Alcohol Awareness and Tobacco Awareness Briefings, assist the other agencies, and are role models and mentors for the youth.

Red Ribbon Week:
The Red Ribbon Week Campaign is one of the oldest and largest drug prevention programs in the nation. Red Ribbon Week reaches millions of young people each year during the last full week of October.

The Idaho National Guard Counterdrug Program can assist with making your Red Ribbon Week events a success by:

  • Providing classroom presentations
  • Involvement in School Assemblies
  • Participating in Community Activities

Every 15 Minutes:
Every 15 Minutes is a 2 day event designed to dramatically illustrate the dangerous consequences of drinking alcohol. This event is designed for 11th and 12th grade students.
Partners with Idaho Correction.

  • Includes visits from the “Grim Reaper”, mock death notifications, simulated traffic collision and mock funerals
  • Participants include students, parents, school staff, police, medical personnel and many others.
